Play with your food!:)

Every sushi place I know has some spicy rolls - spicy tuna, spicy salmon, etc. If I am correct, that mostly means your regular rolls with some hot chili souse.
I had never tried to make spicy sushi myself before, but tonight I got bored and decided to play with my (and my family's) food - while preparing it, of course:) Thai green chilly seafood souse, and wild lime and chili souse both seemed to be more interesting than Tabasco:). The result = quite decent.

Date: 2011-07-09 01:31 am (UTC)It is true. I've tried some things I didn't like at all and some things that were very good. I have limited access(at stores I can visit) to more traditional items. I have used some pieces of chicken with fried skin. It gave it a familiar southern taste. My sister joked I would be adding white gravy to dip it. :D
