Inkstone Castle

My own breed of sea monster! The name is Ichtyander (pronounced "Ihtiander" - from greek Ichthyes (χθύες) - fishes + Andras (άνδρας) - man) The name came from the novel of the Soviet sci-fi author Belyaev "Human Amphibian".
His maiden name was Gil Webber from Monster High dolls © Mattel.
The guy looked so cute, but I didn't like his plastic jelly-fish mohawk at all, so I removed it along with the plastic "hair"( or whatever it was) part, and fixed permanently a wig from Skeleton Girl Accessory on it's place. And gave him a bit of the haircut, too. As I said, I like his face as it was, so I just enhanced his eyes, and lips re-painting them over the fabric paint with the same colors, only a bit brighter, put on some highlights, and gave them gloss with an acrylic paint sealer. At the last moment I added this subtle face paint on his cheekbones - no idea what that means. I even gave him little finger- and toe- nails:)
Now, Ichty is a sea monster I'd love to keep in my fish tank (if I had one!:)
Guess now I need to make/ find some appropriate clothes for him. Too bad I don't know how to crochet - a somewhat provocative fishnet garb would suit him nicely... Oh well, I'll think of something else:)

Он мне с самого начала очень понравился цветом и личиком, но егойный медузообразный ирокез меня не вдохновлял совершенно, поэтому я его удалила вместе с пластиковыми "волосами" (или что там оно было призвано изображать), и перманентно зактепила на их месте парик от этой модели, и подровняла немножко. Как я уже заметила, личико его мне нравилось, поэтому стирать его я не стала, а просто обвела глаза и губы акриликами по фабричной краске, теми же цветами, только немного поярче, добавила блики света, и залакировала. В последний момент добавила этот едва заметный узор на скулах - не знаю зачем и что он значит, просто захотелось. Нарисовала ему ногти на всех конечностях.
Теперь Ихтик может послужить украшением любого аквариума!:)
Наверное, надо бы сделать ему новую одёжку. Какая жалость, что я не умею вязать крючком - одеяние из рыбацкой сети ему бы подошло в самый раз.... Ну ладно, что-нибудь ещё придумаю:)

First of all: The water in my house was fixed, a new heater was installed, and everything is back to normal now. Thanks for your concerns, my friends! ♥

Second: Anton is doing fine, he sent me some photos - China looks fantastic, nevermind the socialism:) Tomorrow he is going to Chengdu (I think) to watch the full solar eclipse on Jul 22.
Yesterday I was watching (by the means of a video-chat) a sunrise over China as it could be seen from the window of a top floor hotel room:))

Third: I had finally finished one project that I started about a half-a-year ago. It's better late than never, heh:)
It's another customized BratZ doll project, only this time it's a girl *gasp*:)

Во-первых: Воду починили, поставили новый нагреватель, всё тип-топ. Спасибо за со-переживания, друзья мои! ♥

Во-вторых, у Антона тоже всё ок, сделал он свой доклад, прислал немного фоток - Китай - это супер какой-то, не смотря на то, что в быту это, по Тошкиному свидетельству, страна победившего социализма:) Завтра он едет смотреть полное солнечное затмение (которое 22 июля) вот везёт же некоторым!
Но и я тут наблюдала (по видео-чату) восход солнца над Китаем (из окна номера на высоком этаже гостинницы:))

В-третьих, я вчера ночером закончила проект, начатый аж пол-года назад. Очередная кастомизация куклы-братца ( BratZ) но на этот раз - девочки.
