New Art: his pillow book

Well, my muse came to my call at the full moon night, but this picture took a few days of work instead of a few hours of flirting, like the previous one.

...A young male courtesan is going through his pillow book. Is he looking for something to entertain his guest tonight, or may be he is contemplating his life?...

Anya, I love it!! His garments are so nice and I know I like what he is thinking...whatever that might be *blush*!

The flow of the robes and the shading are superb! All the details....I'm very impressed.

And only a few minutes ago I was looking at all my past Japanese drawings and marveling at how I used to spend hours on kimono design, now I don't spend as much time. Your drawing makes me want to try again.

Though the design of his kimono is simple, it took me a while to get all the folds and pattern in the natural way...

Не жнаю... По сравнению со всем остальным мордочка слишком белая и неживая. Какой-то он безликий. Наверноe надо было хоть какие-то тени на ней сделать тоже. Или более яркое выражение.
У дамы во-первых есть ярковыраженное выражение лица, во-вторых вуаль закрывает часть лица и это вместе придает ей живость.
А одеяние ты очень здорово нарисовала. текстура прямо чувствуется.

дык - рисовая пудра. На самом деле я рисовала его с (имея ввиду позу и всё такое) известной ксилографии, где точно такой же, только с другим выражением и более круглой мордашкой, держит за шиворот мужика... может, знаешь? у меня где-то валяеццо, могу поискать.
А в юкиё-э тени на лице вообще разве есть? Если тока в оч поздних...

Но дама лучше, Ну оно и понятно, Рё - он и так меня достал, что я всяких пиляцких одалисков вместо красавиц рисую:)) Надо что-то более достойное, тогда он будет более, блин, коопирэйтив. Так что следующим будет или сколар, или самурай, или очередная красавица.
Хотя я лично вьюношей люблю, и хочу ещё егойного юкэ Хоку как-нибудь изобразить...

Понравились обе работы, и предыдущая и эта, причем his pillow book" даже больше - более выразительная, на мой взгляд.
ps Фильм был замечательный, это название к новой трактовке очень подходит )
