Ones again, we were at the back country, at Tom Bennet campground, it was great. And when we were back, it was 100 fuckin' degrees in the town, ye gods!:( I am not functional at such a weather, so I have nothing to do, as to go to the swimming pool, and to bore you with the photos, mwa-ha-ha... The heat makes me an eeeevil person...:)

The woods in the mountains are full of the most wonderful mushrooms. Anton said, though, that even though they look okay, it'd be stupid to try to cook them, being hours of driving away from the civilization (and it's hospitals, heh), and I had to agree. So I was hunting shrooms with the camera...

When a normal man at camping is discovering, that a can opener was accidentally left at home, he is going to borrow one from a neighbour by the campground, right? My woodsman is using an axe to open the can....

Poudre Springs. Remember this name, it's the place where I am going to retire...:)

Thank you! Yes, it was nice up there... the great hidden idea is to go camping at the beginning of the week: there's not of much of the other campers around, and it's so tranquil...:)

Maybe I'm being too forward, but in that first photo your husband is HOT!!! His pose, the setting, his black tee and jeans...beautiful. And he can open a can with an ax! Now that's a man.

You look quite beautiful yourself, like a woodland spirit, magical and free.

I love the mushrooms, that one looks HUGE.

Poudre Springs is just perfect! It looks like my vision of heaven. :) Green, isolated and so quiet and beautiful.

A rainbow is the perfect way to end a post.

Hehe:) But in fact, you made a right observation about Anton: he's always look better in the woods that anywhere else. Guess, it comes naturally to a guy, who had spent every summer during his school years in the woods with his Sports Orienteering club, and then just started to travel alone, hitchhiking with his backpack and Jack Kerouac's "on the road" in his pocket...
As for the ax wielding - at some point he was very good at throwing axes at an aim... Say, ten years ago an accidental witness of our camping with friends could easily get a heart attack, looking at the guys' play:))

"a woodland spirit, magical and free"... Ah:) Thanks for the great compliment!:)

Wow, Anton's past history with the wilderness is something I envy. I used to dream of being out and about like Kerouac and writing poetry like Ginsberg....free wheeling and wild.

:D I would have loved to have seen the ax games. I am not good with an ax but I can use a long whip with surprising accuracy.

A long whip! 8)) I doubt if I had ever held one... oh wait, I remember *blush*... but the situation surely wasn't call for an accuracy...;))

Hehe, duh, nothing overly interesting, in fact:)
I still think, that most of us should try as many as possible of the types of "something different", you know, just to see how it'd work for you. Otherwise there's a risk to stuck with someone else's judgement in your head instead of your own, and for me this is absolutely inconceivable:P

I never got the chance to try out all my possibilities! It's hard to find willing partners.

Oh, this reminds me so much of places we used to camp here in Durango! It's so neat to see photos like this, that bring back memories. You look great!
