I wish you to have a sweetest Valentine's Day ever!







I know that many people hate Valentine's - I don't know why. I adore the holiday. I don't see how "nobody loves me" (even if it really is the case) could be a reason to not to admire that huuuge display of roses of every sort, form, and color in the local Whole Foods store, not to want to taste some of those chocolate-covered strawberries, or not to smile at a sight of a little girl wearing all pink, and big heart-shaped earrings. If such things don't make one to feel good - there's something wrong with this person.
As I said, I love the holiday. And I'll be pestering you for the whole day with the Valentine art - I made a whole bunch this year! :)

Я знаю, что многие Валентайн ненавидят, мне этого не понять. Я не представляю, почему "нихто меня не любит и замуж не берёт" (даже если так оно и есть) может помешать восхищаться бесконечными охапками роз всех видов, расцветок, и сортов, которые нынче во всех магазинах, или отбить желание попробовать клубнику в шоколаде; и как кого-то может не умилять вид маленькой девчушки во всём розовом и с большими серёжками-сердечками. Если с кем такое происходит, то с ним определённо что-то не так.
Лично я Валентайн люблю, и по этому поводу буду сегодня бомбардировать вас валентинками - я их много нарисовала:)
А пока желаю всем романтического и счастливого Валентинова дня.

I hated Valentine's day when I was in school and constantly surrounded by lovey-dovey couples (while I, of course, was single).

Now that I live in the middle of nowhere with no people around, it doesn't bother me. ;)

Heh, I don't care much for lovey-dovey, I just like the entourage: chocolate, roses, pink hearts, and all that silly stuff :) Besides, February just needs a nice holiday to cheer us up in the time when the winter Seems to be endless...

Lovely drawing. This type of drawing with the love birds makes me very happy. I have a very cheap, made for export, chinese print of two birds that I hung at Tyler's room. It makes me happy.

Valentine's Day makes me happy, too. I love the colors and I love flowers and most of all sweets. :D

I am glad that you don't belong to the Valentine's Day haters! I also love flowers-and-birds Chinese paintings. And I have a room in my house fool of those scrolls - there're landscapes, cranes, a tiger, koi... I just love the stuff! :)
