broom_riderIn a frame of my latest obsessions with Ginkgo leaves theme. This is a samurai mon (family crest), with a neat Crane/Ginkgo leaf combination. It could be my personal mon! :)

В рамках моей любви к мотиву листьев Гинко. Наткнулась на такой вот самурайский мон (элемент японской геральдики) с классной стилизованой комбинацией Журавля и Листа Гинко. Это мог бы быть мой персональный мон! :)
From other news - we are having one hell of the week, with a guest in the house, a big math event, "Gathering for Gardner", which Anton is organizing in UNC (and which turned out into a family project somehow, with all the puzzle making and stuff), also there will be a Japanese speech contest in Denver on Saturday, where Sasha's Japanese class will be presenting a little play they wrote especially for the occasion. Yeah, a lot to do, and a lot of preparations too, so may be I won't be very active in LJ till the end of the week.
FC is covered with snow. I wonder what's going on in Rocky Mountains National Park... it'd be cool to go there and check it up...

Из прочих новостей. У нас сумасшедшая неделя, в доме - гость; Антон организует в своем университете "Gathering for Gardner", большой интересный математический хеппенинг, который у нас тут как водится перерос в семейный проект; Сашкин японский класс в субботу учавствует в конкурсе японской речи в Денвере с маленькой пьесской, которую детки сами сочинили специально для этого. Вобщем дел хватает, так что возможно в жж буду до конца недели появляться нечасто.
ФК снова засыпало снегом, за 2 первых дня Ноября выпало больше, чем средняя норма снега за этот месяц. Интересно , что творится в горах... надо бы съездить-посмотреть.

Date: 2011-11-07 06:10 pm (UTC)yeah, it was a crazy week, but it looks like everything went smoothly. One would never guess how much they miss just a routine life till too many extra events will need their attention. Hopefully, we'll have some of the quiet routine life now:)
