Meet Ken, my new love doll.
He is "Japan Ken Doll", a from a new "Barbie Dolls of the World" collection, and my first Barbie doll ever, by the way. Yes, the sanity of a person, who's buying collectors' Barbie Dolls always is an open question, but it was a ♥ from the first sign! :)
I decided to keep the little fellow's original name - Ken, only now it spells 剣 and means "sword" (right, like in "kendo":)
First of all, he has asian features. Some people online say that he looks like Asano Tadanobu - and may be he does.
But to me this little doll guy reminds of my character Arashi.... or, rather, like Arashi's heroic grand-grand...-grandpa could look like:)
Second, Ken has long hair, styled into an anime-ish pseudo samurai hairdo - works for me perfectly!;)
Third, his outfit, as the note on the box says "inspired by samurai" - in fact it has nothing to do with any type of the traditional japanese costume, but will be right on the place in any anime, or cosplay. Not to mention that it's colors are my all-time favorites: dramatic gothy black and red... In other words I love it!:)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
У меня завелсо очередной самурайчег, "Japan Ken Doll". Весь из себя такой готишшно-гламурненький и косплэйно-анимешненький, ну очень красивый! :))
У куклёнка длинные волосы и азиатские черты, и люди говорят, что он похож на Таданобу Асано. Но мне он напоминает моего собственного персонажа Араши - или, скорее, какого-нить Арашиного героического пра-пра-...прадедушку :)
Я решила сохранить за самураюшкой имя Кен, только пишется оно теперь иначе: 剣 и означает "меч" (да, как в "кендо":)
