Bats!:)

There's a little colony of bats live in the laboratory in UNC, and yesterday we had visited them. It's very cool to stand there with bats flying all around! Unfortunately, I didn't take any good photos, though: the bats have little babies now and the flash could disturb them.

В UNC живёт маленькая колония летучих мышей, и мы ходили вчера к ним в гости. Исключительно здорово стоять там среди порхающих вокруг мышек:) К сожалению хороших фото нет - у летучих мышей сейчас мелкие детёнышки, не годится их тревожить вспышкой.


Jamaican leaf-nosed fruit bats. The bat on the top, the one that looks into camera, looks fat - in fact she has a pup hanging on her front:)

Ямайские листоносые летучие мыши. Та, что смотрит в камеру и выглядит толстой - на самом деле это детка висит у неё на пузе:)
