I feel like I've already commented on this since I have been talking about it all day!

I truly adore the written poem. I thought it truly sounds like a message from the past. To me it evokes a feeling of a scholar leaving the world behind so he can rest during the autumn. Lychee was in an especially good form today.

The visual poem is also beautiful. I especially like the first photo, though the Chinese lantern is very pretty.

Thank you so much, Ben!:) I think, that the tanka sounds better then most of my Lychee's poetry because it was written on English. I didn't even care to translate it on Russian till Gerie started the translation theme... :)

I also shared this tanka with my sister and mother. My mother said it made her a little sad. My sister really liked the imagery both visual and the imagery painted with words.
