broom_rider | (no subject)

The day before yesterday Anton bought me The Book of the Dragon by Ciruelo. Tonight I had a wonderful dream (I don't have dreams often, and I remember them even less often). In this dream, obviously inspired by the book, I was a dragon!8) A beautiful female dragon, very big (from a human point of view, though not the biggest in the dragon kind), with four (two up, two down) scaly horns, pale-yellow vertical-pupilled eyes, long tail and of the absolutely fantastic color: shimmering pale violet into opalescent light gray. (Now, if I'd imagine myself as a dragon, I'd be bigger, darker (say, very dark purple), and more fearsome and impressive in general, but I guess this elegant dragoness was a better representation of my "inner self"). I the Dragon was wandering in some, again, Ciruelo-inspired, mountains, sitting on the rocky edge, gazing at the colorful orange sunset, than sneaking in the twilights to some secret (sacred?) place with a small (for a dragon:) waterfall and a wall of glassy stone (mica?) that looked like a misty mirror. I had some special dragon sense/knowlidge, it's hard to explain... like understanding the meaning of the word, only it was a great feeling (which, I believe, "the understanding of the meaning of the world" can't be). Another thing is that I was aware of my gigantic (from a human point of view) size and felt all it's pluses and minuses, like it was good to not to pay attention to the sharp small (a size of a human head:) rocks under my feet, but it was not comfortable to jump, for I was very heavy - that kind of things.

It was a very beautiful dream, and it had a very serene and mysterious feeling into it. I wish I can remember it forever, but the dreams are usually fading in my memory with time... If only I could draw dragons!!! But I can't :(
