Yes, this Hakuoiki anime is drawn exceptionally beautifully.
To be honest, the series could be rather boring - but not for me, since I know the historical background. Another thing is that it has way too much of the characters - it looked like they made every Shinsegumi captain into an important character, not to mention some cool enemies, too.... Fortunately, they also turned them into cutest bishonens ever, so it doesn't bother me either:)

I know that you'll love this one! It exists only in english sub, it seems, but that's ok, I guess...
