Mochi is a sort of japanese sweets. It could be very simple, or rather complicated, like mochi ice cream... The ones on the picture is something in between, a sorta mochi dumplings with sweet chestnut-and-fruit filling. I like japanese sweets, though many of the westerners think that they are strange.... that's right, actually: it's absolutely nothing like chocolate... yet delicious! :)
