a tanka on Mid-Autumn Moon Festival!

Round, bright, and golden
full Moon like a gong of gods.
I'll bang the gong now -
will you hear it, oh my Muse?
Will you visit me tonight?

I like! Did your muse hear the sounding of the gong.

I had only a part of a poem:

Are the clouds a black veil?
Are these raindrops the moon's tears?
Is she crying for me....

I didn't finish it. After a night of mostly rain, today is cooler, crisp and not humid....the sun is out and the sky a blue that is so soft and fresh.

Why, you have a loveliest atmospheric haiku here! (with one extra syllable in the first line, which is easy to fix or not to fuss about (what I'd do:))

Autumn is here, yes. With it's rains and chill... but autumn is the most poetic season of them all!

:D Thanks. I am not really good with sticking to the right number of syllables. I'm not very strict. :D

OH I agree, to me Autumn is a very poetic, thoughtful time of year. I sometimes use the name Autumn Recluse.
