Inspired by all the wonderful jewelry, that my friends scowling_hermit and gerie_aren, and the number of the jewelry-making supplies that was laying idly in a drawer, I spent last night (almost all of it, till 3am heh:) crafting. Girls, if someone likes some of the necklaces - just tell me, and they are yours. Ben, I'd love to give one or two of those to your sister if she wears that style of jewelry, so you can choose too:) An item will go to the one who will claim it first.

Вдохновлённая примером scowling_hermit и gerie_aren, я провела пол-ночи ваяя украшения. Вот результат. Барышни, если кому какое ожерельице приглянулось - с удовольствием подарю. Только тем, кто в России придётся ждать оказии (непонятно сколько). Кто первый 'застолбил" фенечку - к тому и отправляется.

Also, I got a package from wonderful jade_teacup today. It contained gifts for my son: lovely edited "The legend of Mulan" - an ancient chinese poem, that inspired the animated movie my son loves. It has beautiful illustrations we both enjoyed very much. There was also a moon cake - Sasha really wanted to try those, but we don't have a good oriental market around... The moon cake disappeared before I took a picture of it, of course:)

А ещё сегодня получила посылочку от замечательного jade_teacup с подарками для Сашки: красиво изданной книгой "Легенда о Мулан" - это древняя китайская поэма, вдохновившая диснеевский полнометражный мультфильм, который любит мой сын. Очень приятные иллюстрации. Ещё в посылке был мункейк - "лунный"десерт, который мы так и не нашли во время к Осеннему Лунному фестивалю по причине отсутствия у нас в городке хорошего азиатского супермаркета (угу, город-то на более чем 90 процентов белый, остальные- испаники). Да, но мункейк на фото не попал, как я ни спешила - был раздраконен и съеден отпрыском:)
